Mobile Massage Questions and Answers

Many of you want to get a mobile massage but are afraid of the unknown. To make you more comfortable I would like to answer some of your most common mobile massage questions.

1. What is mobile massage?

If you book a mobile massage I will do the massage at your home, office, or location of your choice.

2. How do I book an appointment?

To book a mobile massage just call 225.439.2741 and I will schedule you as soon as you are ready.

3. What type of  massage do you provide?

Erase My Ache Massage is a therapeutic massage practice. We only work in the professional sense. We specialize in headache relief and cooperate chair massage, combining deep tissue, relaxation, and pressure point techniques to achieve the desired result.

4. How often should I get a massage?

The frequency of your massage treatments depends on your circumstances. However, everyone is recommended to have a massage at least once a month.

5. How and when do I pay for my massage?

In the meantime the massage is paid for at the time of service. However, in the near future I will be requiring a credit card to hold the appointment slot. The card will not be charged at this time.

6. Why does mobile massage cost more than a massage at a clinic or spa?

Mobile massage is more costly because of the extra work for the therapist. The therapist has to drive to your location and set up the equipment; which limits the time the therapist has with other clients. Not to mention it is more convenient for you as the client.

7. What happens during a mobile massage?

When I or the therapist arrives at your location you will fill out a client intake form (unless previously completed), and the therapist will set up the table or chair. Once that step is complete you and the therapist will have a consultation and develop a treatment plan. Then, if you are getting a table massage,  the therapist will step out of the room while you disrobe and get under the sheets. After this the massage will start. Once the massage is finished the therapist will step out and let you get dressed. Then the therapist will reenter the room and let you know how the session went and recommendations. You pay and book your next appointment. Finally the therapist packs up and leave.
